The name is stolen from that U2 song, which is what enspired me to draw this.
It might not be so obviouse to look at it, but i didnt shade it the way i usually do. Rather than doing - for example - red, and going darker when it gets near to a crease and lighter when it's nearer to the lightsource, I just did all one shade of red and the shadows were instead jet black. If you look at the background, you'll see the collage i made are actually screenshots from the music video i took the title from. it uses the shame method of shading as i did and it just looked great to me. i don't think i've quite duplicated the feel of it, though. The music video that enspired my pic was the theme for Batman Forever. (i dont really like that movie, but i loved the theme sonfg!) Piedmon seemed like such a batman villan that i though he would be absolutly perfect for the style of shading that i wanted to do. Piedmon is from Digimon. |

heh seems the comic book style has been going around lately, even I'm adopting aspects, though I prefer my own shading to the all black shade, still, very nicely done here
